Cus We Like to Party
My little sister, Angela is growing up so fast. Tear. In a few short
months she will be 21! Last weekend was my first time hanging out with
my sister in a social setting among our peers doing grown folk thangs.
And I was surprised by what I saw. My sister is such a delight to be
around. As I watched her mingle and make her way around the crowd it
really hit me that she isn't a little kid anymore. Angela is growing up
to be a very beautiful, fun, smart, ambitious young woman right before
my eyes! I am a very proud older sister. xoxo

Dear Sister
Last night, my sister Angela and I got into a little argument over something silly. We both got a little heated and were both too stubborn to back down. But 15 minutes later I was apologizing (I'm a softy). We squashed it and went back to normal as if nothing ever happened. We then spent the next two hours talking about life. Next thing we knew it was 4 o'clock in the morning! Later, as I said my prayers before getting into bed I thanked God for my sister, because "having a sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of. You know whatever you do, they'll still be there" (Author: Amy Li). I know that when others let me down or turn their back on me I can always count on my sister to be there no matter what through thick and thin. And vice versa. From the bottom of my heart I thank you Angela for putting up with me. You've seen me at my worst and at my best but still continue to love me unconditionally. I really need that right now.
All my love all my life,
Marissa

Gucci
It went something like this:
Marissa: Ang, wanna do a blog with me?
Me: Nah, son, I'm gucci. Do you though.
Marissa: Gucci? Come on. Help a sista out! It will be fun.
Marissa: Gucci? Come on. Help a sista out! It will be fun.
This
blog was something my sister really wanted to do because she thinks
we're witty and funny and just great people that others would immensely
enjoy living vicariously through. And while I am generally considered
the mean sister, I decided to "help a sista out", literally and
figuratively. So now we all gucci!
